1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using CodCost.io ("the Platform", "we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Platform on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our Platform. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, merchants, agents, and others who access or use the Platform.
2. Description of Service
CodCost is a SaaS (Software as a Service) operating system designed for Cash-on-Delivery (COD) e-commerce brands. The Platform provides:
- Order management and processing tools
- Call center and agent confirmation workflows
- WhatsApp automation for order updates and customer communication
- Integration with third-party shipping providers
- Meta (Facebook) Conversions API (CAPI) integration for ad performance tracking
- Analytics, reporting, and business intelligence dashboards
- Agent marketplace and affiliate management tools
- Subscription-based access with usage-based billing
3. User Accounts
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Subscriptions & Billing
Access to the Platform requires an active subscription. By subscribing, you agree to the following:
- Subscription fees are billed monthly through our payment processor (Paddle).
- Usage-based overages (extra orders, extra WhatsApp messages) are billed automatically.
- All payments are covered by our 14-day money-back guarantee as detailed in our Refund Policy.
- We reserve the right to suspend access if payment is not received within the grace period.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period.
5. Third-Party Services & Integrations
The Platform integrates with third-party services including but not limited to Meta (Facebook), shipping carriers, payment processors, and e-commerce platforms (Shopify, YouCan, LightFunnels). These integrations are subject to their own terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for:
- Outages, changes, or disruptions to third-party services
- Data handling practices of third-party platforms
- Actions taken by Meta or other platforms regarding your advertising accounts
When you connect your Meta account, you grant us permission to access your Ad Accounts and Pixel data solely for the purpose of providing the ROAS tracking and Conversions API features of the Platform.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
- Sell, resell, or sublicense access to the Platform without authorization
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code
- Use the Platform to promote counterfeit, fraudulent, or prohibited products
- Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the Platform's servers or networks
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Platform without permission
7. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the Platform — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, and software — are the exclusive property of CODCOST and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
8. Data & Privacy
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy or completeness of any content or data provided through the Platform.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CODCOST shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform.
11. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Platform at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Morocco.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or a prominent notice on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
